Our speaker of the night is Twitter legend Glenn Le Santo, a professional journalist and writer with twenty years experience. He is one of Britain’s leaders of thought in media and is recognised internationally for his insight and expertise into the challenges presented by the seismic changes in media, especially rise of social media.
He will speak about how anyone can build a strong online presence using a content marketing strategy on social media channels such as Twitter.
Glenn has worked for the BBC, World SuperBike (yes he is a petrol head), Yorkshire Post and is a live event reporter blogging and tweeting at business, social media and technology events.
Often now known as an ‘amplifier’, the role of today’s event reporter has developed because of the ability to post live content that’s immediately consumed by a hungry and always-connected audience.

The hashtag of this event is of course #smlondon
@Juliet...if the slides shared we will be sure to make them available
See everyone else tonight!
Do you have social media marketing skills? If yes, then please look out for me tonight, I may like to team up with you! Ulrike : )
Ohhh! The lack of slides is sure to disappoint those that couldn't make it. Good talk and I came away with plenty from that session :-)
@Juliet - there were no slides but there were tweets instead - LOTS of them! #smlondon is the hashtag, check those tweets out! :)
@everyone - it was really great seeing you all there! :)
Still thinking about @lesanto live wedding events reporting via twitter....
Because of a silly last minute thing, I'm not able to make the talk tomoro but can I lay my hands on the slides somehow?? I really hope to be able to learn abt using social at live events other than twitter...
